Enfim...

TITLE: Voodoos of ourselves
AUTHOR: Biane Motta_
DESCRIPTION:
What is my biggest fear?
What is the really relevant fear to be worked on in a project like this?
In search of these answers, I came across the loss of my strength, my vitality and my personality diluted in the roles of mother, wife, businesswoman...
I was faced with the need to rescue the natural, the simple, the true, the essence, the magic, the soul, the strength of the feminine. And it was living motherhood, this time the mother of a woman, that these questions that had been forgotten, or conveniently hidden, reemerged from the depths of my being.
The work Part 1: We arrived in a world with fears, preconceived concepts, rules, social norms... We are hurt, tamed, molded, cornered, formatted, through daggers that hurt our soul, shrinking it to a tiny and dark place in our being.
Part 2: We are the result, the unfinished work. We are the result of what we have done with our fears. Some superficial, others, so deep, that we confuse with our personality. Some appear noble, but are only hiding, in more elegant clothes, the truth. Puppets, voodoo stabbed by ourselves.
Part 3 And, by undressing our fears, we deconstruct the work, to free the soul. Yes, I found that life's work is to release the forgotten soul in the darkest place of being.
Anyway... With immense respect, I know that my fears shaped me and brought me here. I fed them my vitality. But what really scares me is not knowing how to answer if this is where I would like to be. Not knowing if these fears are really mine. What have I done with the "wild woman"* who connects me with the beauty of existence? In this project, I discovered that my soul is hidden somewhere inside me and that accessing it is more complicated than I imagined. That I need her to regain lost vitality. To be a true guide to a new woman that I've brought into the world. That it is necessary to be able to be proud of who I am in order to one day make her proud of the woman who raised her.
